Donate Canned Goods

for our Easter Canned Food Hunt!

Sunday, April 4 is Easter! Instead of our regular RE Programming, we will host a Canned Food Hunt – the older youth will hide the cans and the children will go a-hunting all around the outside of the church. This annual tradition depends on YOU and your generous donations, so please start those cans rolling in! There will be collection boxes in each classroom starting March 21 – or you can bring them directly to the DRE’s office any time this month!

Easter Programming at

First Jefferson

There will be no scheduled RE classes on Easter, April 4. Instead, all ages will gather in Coleman Hall for springtime activities, crafts, and a Canned Food Hunt! Regular family worship will follow. Nursery care will be available as usual from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Happy Easter!

North Texas High School Rally

The North Texas High School Rally will be held April 9-11 at First Dallas Unitarian in Dallas. Registration forms will be available online at the SWUUC website (www.swuuc.org). We encourage all youth who would like to attend to register early! Please try to have your forms to the DRE for signature by March 28. Thank you!

VALYUUs Penpal Program

Grand Finale!

On March 28, all VALYUUs participants (children, youth and adults) are invited to a special pizza and ice cream party in Coleman Hall immediately following the worship service. Don’t forget to bring a favorite game to share with your penpal!

Library Seating on Sunday Mornings

In an effort to be welcoming to all those who may not be able to sit in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings, we have opened the doors to the library. Children’s Order of Service, small papers for Praying in Color, and worship materials (hymnals and order of service) will be available on the tables. To make this program possible, we ask that:

If you have questions or comments, please let the RE Council know!
