First Jefferson Unitarian Universalist Church

How Do I Become a Member of First Jefferson?

In order to fully appreciate what First Jefferson UU Church has to offer, it's best if you visit for a month or two before considering joining the church. In that way, you can get to know us well enough to make an informed decision. If, after a couple of months you want to join, we'll arrange for for you to sit down with the minister or another church leader to learn what our mutual obligations will be: what you can expect from the church, and what the church expects of its members.

Another important function of the first meeting is for the church leader to learn more about your, talents, skills and enthusiasms so we can help you get connected with others in the church who have similar interests. The entire process takes from 30 minutes to an hour. For more information, you may contact the membership coordinator, or you can contact our minister at 817-451-1505.
