Childcare Coordinator: Randy Gregory The mission of the childcare program at First Jefferson is “We provide parents and the church with peace of mind.” The childcare program at First Jefferson has two components: nursery care and childcare for special events and Wednesday evenings. On Sunday morning, we provide a safe, welcoming nursery for babies and toddlers through age three, with loving, trained caregivers who will attentively care for your child so that you can attend adult programming and worship without worrying about your baby’s well-being. The nursery opens at 9:30 a.m. and provides continuous care until 12:30 p.m. We ask that you bring a diaper bag with your child’s needs and that you sign your child in and out with the caregiver. On Sunday mornings, older children (ages four and up) participate in religious education classes and in worship with their families. First Jefferson also offers childcare on Wednesday evenings and for special church events. These programs are for babies/toddlers and also include children up to approximately age 12. We strive for a balance of age-appropriate activities and free play in an atmosphere that is both fun and safe. If your child is in diapers, please provide a diaper bag with your child’s needs. All children must be signed in and out with the caregiver. |
